Metavault.Trade Launch Schedule and MVX Distribution
Metavault.Trade is a decentralised exchange for swap and perpetual trading. It takes the idea of AMMs and improves on it by drastically reducing slippage with large orders and the risk of liquidation to traders. It achieves this by using an aggregate of high-quality price feeds by Chainlink and other quality sources to reduce the temporary wicks that can cause liquidation events.
MVX is the utility and governance token of Metavault.Trade which allows stakers to claim 30% of the fees collected from across the platform. The staking of MVX will accrue rewards in escrowed MVX (esMVX), Multiplier Points and MATIC. Escrowed MVX have the same rights and rewards as MVX.
MVX token distribution:
- 1.2 million MVX for marketing, partnerships and community development
- 2 million MVX for the MetavaultDAO treasury (staked+locked)
- 4 million MVX reserved for rewards (esMVX reserve for multi-chain expansion)
- 1 million MVX paired with USDC for liquidity on Uniswap (v3)
- 300,000 MVX for Metavault.Trade team (linearly vested over two years with a three-month cliff)
- 1.5 million MVX allocated to presale

Presale Timeline
- 15 April 2022, 13:00pm GMT: Whitelist opens / snapshot of sMVD and gMVD holders and staked GMX & esGMX holders is taken
- 22 Apr 2022: The whitelist will close once more than 900 slots have been taken, if not, the whitelist will remain open
- 23 April 2022: Whitelisted presale opens
- 30 April 2022: Whitelisted presale closes, it will be closed earlier if the hard cap is reached. MVX tokens will be distributed on Polygon
- 1 May 2022: MVX will be listed on Uniswap using 500,000 of the USDC raised from the presale as initial liquidity paired with 500,000 MVX tokens
